Close to Vaison-la-Romaine and the Mont Ventoux Villa, La Bacchante is providing you 5 bedrooms, 4 bathroooms, a delightful pool, high quality, and a panoramic view on the vineyards in the hills of the Côtes du Rhône.
The villa is situated in a 2000 m² garden half built into the south flank of a hill, well protected against the mistral. It sleeps 10 and is ideal for several couples, a big family or two families enjoying their vacation together. At the same time we often have just one or two couples as guests, enjoying the space in the villa. The rooms in the villa are divided over 2 floors, both accessible from the garden and parkings.
You will be struck by the open and stunning views of the peaceful landscape surrounding the large garden. Various trees provide shaded spots for a lunch or just a nap in the afternoon. From the veranda or while swimming in the 4x10 m pool you have 30 km view into the valley. The pool is fenced in and provided with a safety cover. The large covered veranda (25 m2) gives the impression of a lookout post, but well equipped for a ten person dinner.

The kitchen is equipped for gourmet lovers with a 6 burner hob and oven. The 40 m2 living room, with large dining table and comfortable around the fireplace seating, has a spectacular high ceiling with an impressive exposed wooden truss work.
5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms...
The master bedroom has a double bed (160*200 cm) with an attached full bathroom: bath with shower
over it, 2 wash basins, and toilet. The second and third bedroom have a double bed or two single beds (2
*90*200 cm) and each a shower and wash basin en-suite. There is a separate toilet in the hallway. The
fourth bedroom is located at the lower level and has a double bed (160x200 cm) and a bathroom with
shower and separate toilet in the hallway. The fifth bedroom is also located at the lower level, it has a
double bed or two single beds (2*90*200cm), a sitting area and a washbasin, it shares the bathroom
and toilet with the fourth bedroom. Each bedroom has large windows with a unique view into the
valley. All rooms have ceiling fans.
At the lower level is also a utility room, storage for bicycles accessible from the garden, and a den with a piano and a tennis table. You will also find a small wine cellar stocked with a nice selection of local wines for your consumption at cost charge.
Facilities:
Central heating (oil), TV (satellite), internet access (ADSL Wi-Fi), DVD player with a selection of 40 plus
DVD's, ceiling fans in rooms, Radio/CD system with USB slot, piano, tennis table, petanque boules,
wood burning fire place (wood provided). If needed we can provide you baby bed(s), playpen and high
chair(s). Outside: dining table with 10 chairs, BBQ, deck/garden chairs, drying rack, picnic table, space
for playing boules. Parking for 4-5 cars, access via municipal tarmac road.
Kitchen facilities:
Dishwasher, electric oven&grill, fridge(2x)/freezer, 6 burner gas and electric hob, microwave, 2 coffee
makers (filter and Nespresso), toaster, mixer, water cooker. In the utility room: ironing facilities, drying
rack, washing machine, tumble dryer, hair dryer.
Your dog is welcome after individual approval. Dogs can be walked directly from the villa.
